One of the features of the Kiwi Size Chart & Recommender app is the ability to set the display type options for the recommender field as either an input box or a slider. This guide will walk you through the steps to use these display types effectively.
Understanding Display Types
Before diving into the steps, it's essential to understand the two display types available for the recommender field:
Input Box:
This allows users to manually enter values into a field.
Configure Input Parameters: If you select the input type, set the parameters such as minimum and maximum values.
- Minimum Value: The lowest possible value that can be entered.
- Maximum Value: The highest possible value that can be entered.
Slider
This provides a graphical slider that users can move to select a value within a specified range.
Configure Slider Parameters: If you select the slider type, you will need to set similar parameters to the input type but in the context of a slider.
- Minimum Value: The start point of the slider.
- Maximum Value: The end point of the slider.
- Login to the Kiwi app and open the chart that has a simple generic recommender.
- Once you’re on the chart, click on the "Update Size Recommender" button at the bottom.
- Identify the field you want to configure with a display type. This could be any parameter that affects the recommender, such as size, weight, or preference scale.
- Once you have set the display type and configured the parameters, click the "Update" button to apply the changes.
