How to integrate Kiwi app to Gempages

Integrating the Kiwi app with GemPages allows you to enhance your Shopify store with powerful size charts and recommendation features while leveraging the drag-and-drop page building capabilities of GemPages. This integration can help you provide a seamless shopping experience for your customers. Follow these steps to integrate Kiwi with GemPages effectively.

Step-by-Step Guide to Integrate Kiwi App with GemPages:

1. Install the Kiwi App

First, ensure that the Kiwi app is installed on your Shopify store. You can find it in the Shopify App Store and add it to your store by clicking "Add app" and following the installation prompts.

2. Install GemPages

If you haven’t already, install GemPages from the Shopify App Store. GemPages allows you to create custom landing pages, product pages, and more using a simple drag-and-drop interface.

3. Open the GemPages Editor

Go to your Shopify admin dashboard, navigate to Apps and open GemPages. From here, choose the page you want to edit or create a new one.

4. Add Kiwi Elements to Your Page

In the GemPages editor, you can add Kiwi elements to your page. Here’s how:

  1. Locate the element panel in GemPages. Drag and drop the HTML element (or custom code element) to the desired location on your page.
  2. In a separate tab, open the Kiwi app go to the size chart, and click on Advanced. Copy the embed code provided.

  3. Go back to the GemPages editor, click on the HTML/custom code element you added, and paste the Kiwi embed code into the code editor. Aside from the embed code, please add this code:

5. Customize Your Kiwi Integration

You can customize how the Kiwi elements appear on your GemPages-built page. Adjust the settings within the Kiwi app for size charts or recommender links/buttons to match your store’s design.

  1. Customize Size Charts: In the Kiwi app, you can set the appearance of your size charts, such as font, color, and layout. These changes will automatically reflect in the embed code you use on GemPages.
  2. Customize Recommender: Similarly, customize the appearance and behavior of the recommender feature to fit seamlessly with your page design.

6. Preview and Test

Before publishing your changes, preview the page in GemPages to ensure everything looks and functions as expected. Check that the Kiwi size charts and recommenders are displayed correctly and that they work seamlessly on different devices.

7. Publish Your Page

Once you’re satisfied with the integration, click the “Save” or “Publish” button in the GemPages editor. Your Kiwi-enhanced page is now live and ready for your customers.
