One of the basic features that Kiwi Sizing Chart & Recommender offers is the unit conversion between Imperial and Metric systems. Regardless of which display mode you are using (link modal, button modal, or inline), you can configure the conversion display mode that you consider most appropriate for your pages.
There are three types of unit conversion displays you can choose from:
- Conversion Button
- Inline Cell
- Inline Text
To use any of these options, the setting to display both unit systems must be turned on. If you don’t select both unit systems, these options will be hidden.
1. Conversion Button:
This is the most common display mode. Customers see measurements in one unit system and can click the button “CM” or “INCHES” (or “IMPERIAL” / “METRIC” if different measurements are used, like height and weight) to convert to the other unit system.
This conversion display also has its modal settings under "Table unit toggle button style."
2. Inline Cell
This mode will load two additional cells below the table header row, designating inches or centimeters (or Imperial/Metric units) under each measurement in the table.
3. Inline Text
Both inches and centimeters (or other units) will be loaded into one cell, clearly showing both types.
Alternatively, you can show unit types in the table header instead of table cells by enabling the “Show Unit Types in Table Header” option.
