What are product matching conditions?
Product Matching Conditions are a set of rules that link the size charts you create to products in your store. These conditions help us determine which products should display the corresponding size chart.
When you create a size chart, you’ll find the “Product Matching Conditions” section immediately below the chart name on the right side. By default, new size charts will have no conditions.
Setting Up Matching Conditions
Click the “Add New Matching Condition” button. A menu will appear with various condition types.
You can set up rules based on:
- Individual products (for unique sizing charts)
- Collections
- Product types
- Product vendors
- Product tags
- All products
Types of Matching Conditions
You can add multiple sizing conditions, and there are two types of matchings:
- Match ANY: The size chart will display products that meet at least one of the specified conditions.
- Match ALL: Only products that meet all conditions will have the size chart linked. This option allows for more complex and flexible conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can I set a negative condition?
- Yes. Use the “is/is not” buttons in the conditions menu to create negative conditions. Note that negative matching conditions only work with ALL matching types.
Q: Can I see what products are matched?
- The app provides an estimate of how many products satisfy the specified conditions, indicated by the text “matched with X products.” You can click on it to view the products.
Note: This result may not always be accurate, especially if your store contains many products.
Example Scenarios
-
Each of my products needs a different size chart:
- Select the “ANY” condition type. Click on “Add New Matching Condition,” then select “Product” and choose the specific product you want to attach the size chart to.
-
I want to show the same size chart for all t-shirt products:
- If all your t-shirt products are in a “t-shirt” collection, simply select that collection as the matching condition. Alternatively, if they all have “t-shirt” as a product tag or type, use that as the matching condition.
-
I sell shoes from different brands and want each brand to have different size charts:
- Use the “ALL” condition type. Add two conditions: the product type of “shoes” and the vendor for different brands. For example, set the product type as “shoes” and the vendor as “Nike.” Only Nike shoes will then link to this particular size chart.
Q: What happens if a product is linked with multiple size charts?
- By default, all size charts linked to a product will display on the product page, ordered by creation time. If you want to change the order or specify which size chart to show, use the size chart priority settings.
- Click on the “Advanced” tab to access the priority section.
